What is Day of
Caring?
Day of Caring is a
day of work and fun
to aid local
nonprofit health and
human service
agencies in Northern
Santa Barbara County
(must be an IRS
certified 501(c)3).
Your employee group
could help clean up
playgrounds, do some
painting, read to
children, deliver
meals or a variety
of other projects.
Whenever possible,
groups are matched
with projects that
best fit their
interests, skills
and geographic
preferences.
Where Would We
Volunteer?
There are project
sites at United Way
partner agencies and
other nonprofit
organizations
throughout
Northern Santa
Barbara County.
Every effort will be
made to match your
group with a project
that fits your
interests and
skills.
How Do I Benefit?
In addition to
making our community
a better place to
live, work and raise
a family, employers
and
employees often
discover that
working together on
a Day of Caring
project enhances
communication and
fosters teamwork
within their
company.
